Most network administrators in large enterprises have to deal with a variety of issues in order keep their networks optimized. From load balancing to ensuring the network remains secure from intrusion; the range of their tasks is quite extensive. Moreover they have to engage in constant testing activities. Quite expectedly they are more than eager to try out tools that would help them ease their work. One such innovative tool is the TCP Port Forwarding 1.1.1 application that is designed to switch traffic in a seamless manner from one network card to another. The tool can be used to switch loads during peak time and even direct a specific type of service request at a different network switch.
When you launch the TCP Port Forwarding 1.1.1 application you would be greeted with a minimalistic grey hued interface that looks a bit dull in appearance. It basically has centrally divided top pane where you can set the entries for making the transfer. On the left hand side you would find the Client side details and you would need to enter the relevant IP address. On the right hand side, the destination network card details need to be filled including IP and port details. Interestingly the tool can be used to direct suspicious traffic for further checking and for testing firewalls. Moreover if you are looking to try out a new service, a port transfer tool comes quite handy. The application on its main pane, displays the status of the transfer and give details like connection time etc.
After trying out the TCP Port Forwarding 1.1.1 tool we can confidently recommend it on account of the dexterity it displays in switching traffic on the fly. It optimum performance earns it a score of three rating stars while its overall usability earns it an additional half star rating.
